Item Details and Description
The foundation of this lovely woven piece is a light rust, heavyweight cotton thread weft which adequately supports the rippling pattern of fluffy rust yarn. The “banks” of royal blue, light blue, and wine colored yarn keep the “Rusty River” contained. It can be used as a wall hanging or a small table mat with the dowel rod removed. This original design by Florence Todd Thomas was woven on a lap loom that was handcrafted from a picture frame.
Care Instructions
